Dress Code & Colors

Let’s talk about attire. Renaissance Faire garb is absolutely where it’s at for this celebration!

The One Hard Rule: Please do not wear silver, grey, or white per the bride's request

Yes, the official wedding colors are blue, green, and silver, but we honestly don't care about perfect coordination. If you don't match the tablecloths, nobody is going to judge you. There will be absolutely zero pearl-clutching. Just dress up, be comfortable, and get ready to eat like you might enjoy a giant turkey leg!

Not into dressing up? No problem at all! If you don’t want to wear full Renfaire gear, you won't be penalized. Business casual is perfectly acceptable. Just wear what you're comfortable in and come ready to celebrate.

Exploring the Area: A New England Guide

For those traveling from out of town, welcome! If you want to spend some time exploring Massachusetts while you're here, here is your quick guide to the area.

Fall in Massachusetts

Points of Interest

Salem (The Witch City): If you're feeling adventurous, visit the witch capital. Pro-Tip: Take the bus if you can. Trying to park a car there is a literal nightmare. It’s highly historical, and if you like ghost tours, almost every building has a spooky story.

Northborough: A great town to walk around, relax, and browse some local metaphysical shops.

Old Sturbridge Village: A fantastic 19th-century living history museum, highly recommended by locals and travelers alike.

Mandatory Local Eats

Local Pizza: You need to order a pie from a local spot. The water in this region makes the crust incredible. It's legit.

Cider Donuts: A mandatory regional item. Eat them.

Rice’s Fruit Farm: We will personally escort you here to get the good stuff, but it requires an early morning start. Be ready.

Neighboring States

We are very close to the Connecticut border if you want to explore. New Hampshire is also only about a 3-hour drive away. You could visit Hampton Beach, but fair warning: it’s the off-season, so it will be chilly.

Note for Landlocked Guests: If you live somewhere without an ocean, you are officially required to go look at the beach—even if it’s freezing. TJ promises that just looking at the Atlantic at least once is worth it.

The Hard Deadline: September 15, 2026

September 15 is the official cutoff for RSVPs.

We need to lock in our final headcount for the caterer. She is a culinary wizard, and we have a great relationship with her that we’d like to keep! Please let us know your status by the deadline so we can ensure there is a meal allocated for you.

The Fine Print

Alcohol

There is a cash bar on-site. Feel free to indulge and have fun, but please know your tolerance levels so everyone stays safe and happy!

Cannabis / Weed

Yes, we are technically in a state where this is legal. However, TJ, Melissa, and the venue have a strict ban on usage anywhere on the property. Please leave it at home or in your hotel room.

Children

Bring your mini-humans! We just need you to RSVP for them so the kitchen makes enough food. The only rule: if your little one has a crying meltdown during the ceremony, please temporarily step outside until they calm down.

Wedding Registry

Honestly, our home is already fully stocked. Your presence is the best reward! But if you really want to give a gift, we are looking to fund a future vacation for next summer. (We are definitely not going to a beach boardwalk in November—Melissa wants to revisit Ocean City or explore Myrtle Beach). You can find our Cash Fund and travel gift cards on the registry.

Our Favorite Charity

If you’d rather send a gift toward a good cause, we have an organization that is incredibly near and dear to our hearts. As many of you know, our home is occupied by two rescue cats (our "Boys").

Twitchy: Rescued from the Emporia Animal Shelter.

Titan: Rescued from the Street Cats Club in Emporia, KS.

The Street Cats Club does incredible work for the local feline population. If you’d like to make a donation in our honor, it would mean the world to us! Please list it as a gift from "Titan and Twitch" and use the QR code provided above.

Catering & Dietary Restrictions

Look, the Bride has some incredibly specific, high-maintenance dietary restrictions. Because of this, she wants to ensure all her guests are fully fed and taken care of! If you leave this venue hungry, that is 100% your own fault.

We’ve optimized the menu for everyone. We have options ready for our Lactose-Free, Gluten-Free, Diabetic, and Vegan friends. Just let us know your restrictions on your RSVP so we can assign the right meal to you.

The DJ Policy (The Do-Not-Play List)

Attention all guests: we gave the DJ rules. Please do not try to request anything involving chickens, cha-cha's, or Gasolina. Those specific songs are strictly forbidden. Even Tj's mom requested no Macarena. We have honored this.

However, we are absolutely open to legitimate music requests! If you have a track that gets people on the dance floor, feel free to submit it to the DJ.

Having Trouble RSVPing?

If the online system is giving you trouble, do not panic.

Search by your last name. Melissa took a bit of time to make sure all names are correct, so should be easy to find

If in doubt, just text or email the Bride directly. She will manually add you to the guest list!
